Weather Agent support
Questions, confusing forecasts, or a widget that needs attention? Tell me what happened.

Try the beta
Weather Agent is currently available through TestFlight. Install Apple's TestFlight app, open the invitation, and follow the installation steps. You can send feedback directly through TestFlight. Public App Store release is still being prepared.
What do I need?
An iPhone running iOS 26 or later. On-device AI additionally needs an Apple Intelligence-compatible iPhone, Apple Intelligence enabled, a downloaded model, and a supported language. Model availability can vary by device, language, and region. No Weather Agent account is required.
The AI is unavailable or doesn't answer
Check Apple Intelligence in iPhone Settings and allow its model download to finish. Try a short weather question and make sure a forecast is loaded. You can still read available forecast data when the model is unavailable. There is no cloud AI fallback.
What happens offline?
Previously saved forecasts may remain visible with their update time or offline state. New forecasts, alerts, location searches, and news need internet access. On-device AI may work with cached context when its model is available, but it cannot retrieve fresh weather while offline.
My widget looks out of date
Open Weather Agent while connected, refresh the forecast, and check your selected city. Verify that the widget is a Weather Agent widget. iOS controls background refresh timing, so changes may not appear immediately. If a widget remains stuck after updating, remove and add it again.
Location or calendar weather is wrong
Check location permission or manually choose a city. Current location and a future calendar destination are different contexts. Calendar weather works best with timed events that include mapped locations; a text-only address may not provide coordinates. Calendar and Health connections are optional.
Where does the weather come from?
Google WeatherNext 2 forecasts are delivered through Open-Meteo, with other weather models supplying additional current conditions and metrics. U.S. advisories come from the National Weather Service. Forecast timing is approximate and model output can change. This is a free, non-commercial personal project.
Weather alerts and safety
Weather Agent notifications and widgets depend on internet access, permissions, and iOS scheduling. They are not emergency warning systems. For dangerous weather, follow your local authorities and official weather service.
Manage personal data
See the privacy policy for how location requests, optional personal connections, and on-device AI work, plus ways to clear your local preferences and reading signals.
